Beautiful Ohio……

Drifting in a currant on a Moonlit stream…. high above the heavens in a glorious scene… beautiful Ohio in dreams again I see…visions of what life use to be…(a song running through my mind as we are driving)

Arriving here with one of my Granddaughters, T’la (Tayla) and Tony, after nearly a year since we moved from forest to desert was an experience of contrast. Hot here too as Summer wraps us in her warm blanket, same as out West, but lots of humidity, which makes the heat a bit more to deal with here than in Arizona. Flight was easy and no airport mix-up.

We were greeted by my daughter Therese, who had arrived a day before us with her soon to be wed Hien. Ride was great to the Village. As always beautiful landscape. Times past and memories came drifting in as we drive the hour and a half to home base. As my eyes scan the surface of my Mother Earths bountiful gifts, my heart warms at the faces that walk through my mind, loved ones that I cherish, and gratefulness to the magnificent and Powerful people who make up these memories. I can only hope they know how much they mean to be and how much I love them That they will always be a part of me and in Spirits way, I am with them.

The Sun Ceremony began twelve years ago and will be completed as of next season in 2012. There are many who have held their place for all those years, making a full circle of transformation. See you just can’t fake it, and you must bring in each season growth and added value. To be of Nuwati you must come into your power. So it involves practices to help over come certain weaknesses, and to help you expand your range of influence and broaden your margins as a person. To be inclusive and stop separation. To care and to nurture. To be a person of service and not just out for yourself and your take. So it tests us all for sure. For those who ask what is Nuwati, it is much the same as The Tao.

The Ceremonialist are also called Dancers, due to the fact that dance has much to do with ceremony and jubilation.

We have had many come, and after the test of daily pratices, about thirty five made it. So the Dance stays much the same numbers. Supporters run from 150-70-80. People fade due to the tests it brings and what it takes to be real every day. It tests us financially,  in relationships, commitments, mentally and physically. It is truly Mind, Body and Spirit experience. So it’s hard for a person to stay in cause with tests on all levels and not become effect and victim. But there are those who do! And they are standing still, battle worn and raggedly as some may be. All the same present and in for the count. They heard the tune; if you get the chance to dance, dance!

Over the years I have heard it all I think. Some have said it was too serious and they wanted to have more fun. So they do something that is more fun to them. See that really doesn’t go far with me. You make your own fun. I hear laughter, I see people smiling. I have folks sharing jokes and stories of happiness and healings. I take hold of my mind and Body when it is time to break through old and harmful patterns, or when more is needed. Then the joy is greater, but not just for one, for all! So I guess we do create our own reality, and if not in Cause, in effects.

So here we are and it is so awesome. Over the years we have learned to hire and get help with the much-needed preparation. And we have had many generous people come and help with that cost. But it’s worth it, so we get to spend more time catching up, people sharing and teachings happening and sharing of good things.

This year the Dancers have taken charge and maintained over the year organizing and getting done what was needed to make it an easy and well spent time. Wado! Great job!  I celebrate all the powerful leaders who have stepped up and taken it on, you’ve done it. We are walking the talk!

And as usual, all has helped many to have a chance and a better life. Even in the midst of many of the Dancers working through failing forward, they still managed to heal and lift suffering for others. Wado Beloveds and its good to see you all again. And so we gather.

We will begin our ceremony on the new Moon, keep all in your prayers. All good things to you always!!!!
